In this post I will be I will be describing how using Photoshop has created our final digipak and how we went on coming up with the designs used.
Firstly, we created a scale to what size our digipak would be - this is a size that would be resonable and as we already had plans of what to include, all we needed to do was create our digipak.
We firstly created a neutral background colour that flowed between both the magazine advert and digipak - also creating a contrast between the t shirt prints. We used the t shirt background from the magazine advert for a section of the digipak (the back) and to finish this section off, we would simply add in lyrics and a barcode - a typical digipak section.
The main resource we used within this programme was the tools on the tool bar on the left hand side. We used the magic eraser tool to delete backgrounds of various pictures such as the picture of the performer holding a sign. This was because there was a white background behind the picture which would not look right therefore, deleting the background created a professional look as well as various features to ass to our digipak.
To finish our digipak, we just simply had to add other features to each section. This constists of the artists background, tour dates, pictures of the performer - aspects of the magazine advert and song titles.
